A few things worth knowing before you arrive: 🚐 Shuttle clarification The complimentary Deer Valley Direct shuttle runs door-to-Snow Park Lodge only. From Snow Park, Park City's free city bus connects to Park City Mountain Resort and downtown. If PCMR is your primary mountain, plan to drive or rideshare to that base. ❄️ Winter driving (Nov–Apr) Park City gets serious snow. AWD or 4WD with snow tires is strongly recommended. Chains may be required in big storms. 🦌 Wildlife This community is genuinely wild — deer, wild turkeys, and the occasional moose move through the property. Keep your distance and never approach a moose. 🏘️ Deer Lake Village HOA rules (actively enforced) This is a residential HOA community, and these rules are enforced with warnings, fines, and towing: Parking — please read carefully • ⚠️ DO NOT park in the driveway — ever, not even for a few minutes. The driveway must stay completely clear at all times. This is the HOA's strictest rule and the #1 reason guests here get towed, so we want to be very clear about it. • Park inside the garage only (a 2-car garage fits 2 cars); no more than 2 vehicles on-site total • No street parking anywhere in Deer Lake Village • Vehicles left in the driveway, on the street, or blocking access will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense • Use the reserved guest spots behind the home for overflow — don't leave a vehicle in guest parking more than 5 days • No RVs, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles (over 20 ft long, 7 ft tall, or 84 in wide) except brief loading/unloading • Don't block fire hydrants, traffic, or snow removal; community speed limit is 15 mph • Keep the garage door closed except when coming or going Quiet hours: 10 PM – 9 AM Sound carries here — keep music and outdoor conversation down during quiet hours. Unusually loud noise can bring HOA fines, and outdoor speakers aren't permitted. 📶 Connectivity Fiber Wi-Fi throughout the home. Cell signal can be spotty in pockets — Wi-Fi calling works well on all carriers. ♨️ Hot tub Takes ~20 minutes to fully reheat after the cover comes off. No glass on the deck.
